Order emails from
your own domain.
Order confirmations, shipping updates with tracking, cancellations and refunds, sent from your domain in your store's design. Customer replies come back matched to the order, and the Autopilot answers “where's my order?” for you. Connect with an API token from your store: there's no app to install.
Token. Paste. Done.
Add your domain
In GhostParse, add the domain you send from and its DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), so your order emails reach the inbox.
Make an API account
In BigCommerce, Settings → Store-level API accounts → Create API account, with Orders: modify and Information & settings: read-only. Copy the token and API path it shows.
Paste it in
On the dashboard's BigCommerce page, paste them and choose the address to send from. We check the token and set up the store's webhooks for you.
Every order email, in your design.
Each one is a template you can edit, with a live preview and a test send. Your logo and colour go in every email.
| Sent when | What's in it | |
|---|---|---|
| Order confirmation | A customer places an order | The items, totals, delivery and billing addresses |
| Shipping confirmation | You create a shipment | What's in that shipment, the carrier, tracking number and link |
| Order cancelled | An order's status changes to Cancelled | The order and what happens next |
| Refund confirmation | You refund all or part of an order (off until you turn it on) | What was refunded, the amount and your note |
Turn off BigCommerce's own versions under Marketing → Transactional emails, so customers get only yours.
The email that comes back, too.
Replies matched to the order
Order emails get a reply address made for that order. Replies are forwarded to you with a link to the order, and added to the order's staff notes in BigCommerce.
Autopilot
Customer emails are read by AI, matched to the order, and answered from its real status and tracking, or drafted for you to send with one click. It never changes an order. How it works.
Email a customer
Write to the customer of any order from the dashboard, with saved messages, in your store's design.
Read live, never kept
Each email is written from the order as BigCommerce has it at that moment. We keep only the order number and whether the email went, for 30 days.
Safe webhooks
We register the store's webhooks with a secret of ours, and read every order from BigCommerce's API, so a forged webhook can't make us send anything.
No app, no review
It works with your store's own API token, so there's nothing to install from a marketplace and nothing in your store changes except the webhooks.
Before you connect.
What can the API token do?
Read orders and add staff notes to them (Orders: modify), and read the store's name (Information & settings: read-only). Nothing else. Delete the API account in BigCommerce any time to cut us off.
Do you store my orders?
No. Each order is read from BigCommerce when an email needs it and isn't kept: only its number and the email's result, for 30 days. The Autopilot keeps a customer's message and its reply for 30 days, for your team to review. How we handle data.
What does it cost?
Order emails count as sent emails on your plan, and GhostParse has a free plan. Pricing.
Will customers get two emails?
Only if BigCommerce's own email is still on. Turn off the ones we send under Marketing → Transactional emails.
